How good? By what standards? Do I have to be 100% good, or is 95% good, good enough.

Do you know anybody that you would consider 100% good?

If there is in deed a Heaven, who/what is in charge of making that determination?

Being a good person or doing good works does not give you a ticket to heaven. You must accept Christ as your personal Savior.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light and no one comes to the Father except through Him.

A wonderful song my little children used to sing goes like this....

There's only one way, one way to Heaven
One way to know that I'll walk the streets of glory.
One way to live forever and Jesus told me He is the way.

The most important duty we have as parents is to expose our children to Jesus. They can accept Him or reject Him which is a choice for all of us.

Without a doubt! I know there is a Heaven and we won't get there because of something that we do to earn our way there. That's why Jesus died on the cross. All we have to do is love him and ask forgiveness for all the awful things we do. As far as what it's like, the only thing I'm confident about is that it's glorious, God and the Angels are there and so are the loved ones who've gone ahead of us.

I don't buy into the idea that you can be a bad person but if you accept Jesus as your savior you will get into heaven. The rest of you may believe that, but I don't believe it.

Being a good person involves treating others as you would like to be treated.
