If you voted for George Bush in 2000, you are somewhat stupid. If you voted for him again in 2004, you are almost as retarded as he is!

I remember the first time I heard Bush speak. It was during the primaries in 1999. I knew within 5 minutes of listening to him that he was better off shoveling horse manure on a ranch than being the Commander In Chief. Apparently so did millions of others. Just not enough though.

If the number of Americans disapproving of Bush were 90%, that would not be as much as the disapproval of Congress, which has been around 92% recently.

Kind of scary how someone who voted for Bush's opponents would be classified!

Oh, I dunno. I disagree with Bush on about 50% of his positions. I disagreed with Gore and Kerry on 100% of their positions and vehemently so. That doesn't mean I belong to the 30% who don't disapprove of the job Bush is doing. I'm not a maniacal Bush Derrangement Syndrome victim. These poll numbers are for people who don't like to think or read too much, as there's a lot in between approve and disapprove.

If you really believe that Bush's job approval is low, take a look at this:

Thumbs down Bush is an idiot

Notice how all the Bush people always try to find something worse than Bush instead of just accepting that their poor judgment is why our nation is in the worst shape since the Great Depression. Congress is getting hit on all sides due to having to deal with another Bush blunder. The Democratic majority was heavily criticized by anti-war citizens inpatient with Bush's incompetence. Today a special prosecutor will look at criminal charges against Alberto Gonzales [widey considered the worst Attorney General our nation has ever had].

Republicans didn't even put their name on their convention & are the first political party to did not invite their president & vice-president for fear of more negative backlash.

Bush is the personification of a Republican: not very bright\ doesn't read\ tendency toward impulsively\ poor manager of people - intimidated\ insecure\ uses fear & barbaric behavior toward others [ie torture]\ constitutionally ignorant\ wholly incompetent.

It is good that Americans so dislike Bush & not quickly forget how a Republican president & political party has ruined our nation like no other in our history.

Well, I do agree with you that it's Bush's blunder trying to bailout the lending companies. The same goes for McCain, and for Obama, since the three of then want the same thing. Now, in relation to Freddie Mac and Jenny M., that's the fault of both republicans and Democrats (including Obama), not Bush Alone. Congress is being hit on all sides, not because of Bush, but because they have failed to do anything about anything. Even Bill clinton told on TV that he warned the Democrats not to oppose changes to regulate the lending industry, but they still did several times. Congress has had ample of opportunities to straighten the mess, back since the days where carter was president, but instead its members (Republicans as well as Democrats) rode the gravy train, by using these lending institutions for their own benefit, to give to "grass roots" organizations, and to have the workers and the lending institutions donate to their political campaigns.

Another example: if the Democrats really wanted to stop the war in Iraq, all the had to do was to refuse passing the war budgets Bush has been handing them each year. But the reason why they pass these budgets is because they benefit from it in the form of earmarks, and other pork, as well as profiteering from it.
