More slanted propaganda. The real truth is there is plenty of blame to be shared and pointing fingers at only one side will only prolong the damage and pain. It was a bi-partisan buy-in of unregulated greed starting more than 30 years ago and a bi-partisan rejection of this so-called remedy.

At this point, it is really, really stupid to be playing the partisan blame game.

Just before elections I believe the people should be able to know who did what, voted for what, covered what up, flip flopped on what so they can know who to vote for. Not that we will really get the whole truth out of any politician so I think it is good that we hear from their own mouths what they said in the past so we know how to vote for the future. Nothing at all wrong with that. And I am sorry but if a congress member stood up and said "there is nothing wrong with the way Freddie and Fannie are being run" then they need to be replaced and the finger does need to be pointed at them as part of the problem because they ignored what was really going on and pushed for less regulation when there obviously needed to be more. The writing is on the wall now about them, no denying that.
It is called looking at the facts and making your own decision not one the politicians and their grandstanding sways people to do because it "sounds good".
If you have a problem with these videos and how they are presented, look for others, look and listen to them all then make up your own mind, not by party affiliations alone. Voting only by party in dangerous and irresponsible in my opinion. I don't care what "party" someone is, if they are a blind idiot, they do not belong in Congress or the presidency speaking on behalf of the American people.

WHAT?? Which part is the propaganda? You clearly have Black DEMOCRAT members of the Congressional Black Caucus, saying that there is NO problem with Freddie & Fannie or it's great leadership, in fact some actually "pissed off " that the regulator would even suggest that there is, and trying to make him out to be the bad guy! You clearly have Republicans giving warning's and calling for better regulation and oversight! Which part is the propaganda??
For those that are not too partisan or lazy to find the truth.....http://www.c-span.org/search.aspx?For=fannie%20mae
FYI; My point in all this, is, if the shoe was on the other foot, Barney Frank would be one step from being in jail , certainly disgraced and probably forced to resign! Definately not involved in trying to fix the problem, that he was largely RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING!!!
For those who can not grasp the connection....
