You hit the nail right on the head!!

Even in the 80's with Reagan, he had his tax rates in a much more socialist manner than Obama does!!

Let’s try that and see how well it is liked by everyone.

You forgot to add the tariff's on foreign goods that come about due to your inability to compete on a purely capitalistic playing field.

The iconic Harley Davidson exists today only through being protected from the Japenese products that were virtually wiping them out.

Market manipulation is AGAINST the truly capitalistic model. LOL.

i agree. I've just joined a GPAA, and bought a metal detector just to have some fun with it, and i am having a very hard time now finding areas i can use it. can't use it in State Parks, National Parks, BLM lands, Wilderness AReas, and the list goes on and on. what harm would I (70+yrs. old, frail woman) with a metal detector & hand trowel, or a gold pan do to our environment/animals/fauna? While off road vehicles are allowed to tear up the same grounds. What happened to their common senses when "they" put in these restrictions? don't think i'm an extremist because i'm not, but BE AWARE AMERICA this is just the beginning of us loosing our freedoms...and being herded within "green" fences. look what's happening across the Nation with eminent domains and the park systems taking land (San Fernando Valley for example), etc. etc.

Have you studied up on Agenda 21 enough to know what you are talking about is aimed at us? Google Agenda 21 and read what the UN is aiming at us and think about the fact that Obama says he will sign the UN Small Arms Treaty. It is too bad it takes 67 senators to put us full force in Agenda 21. No it is very good.

The very thing you talk about is the easing of us into Agenda 21 desires from the UN. Until you know some about Agenda 21 you don't really know how apt your words about "herding us" are.

I see that you don't understand what Obama meant when he talked about redistribution of the wealth and is today talking about 30% tax rates for the wealthy.

I don't care what Obama *talks* about. It's what he does is what matters.

Fact of the matter is, the corporate tax rate and thanks to Obama for extending the P.O.S. Bush tax cuts, the wealthy are paying the *lowest* taxes they have in about 50 years!

I have no problem w/ the wealthy paying hardly anything in taxes, but since the wealthy have had it so good the last 12 yrs especially, we should have never even had a recession hit. With all this money they're saving in not paying the tax rate that their messiah Reagan had it at, there should never been a problem with jobs in this country.

You're right about one thing. The redistribution of wealth. Take a look and see yourself where the redistribution of wealth has went the last 30 yrs. For those making 100k or more in 1980, just how much more they're making now, and for someone who was making 30k a year, just what they're making now.

Yep, that redistribution of wealth has flowed right to the top hasn't it? The wealthy get the tax breaks, tax cuts, tax havens, get to buy our political candidates ( including Obama ) and guess who gets to pay the taxes they aren't while our jobs are shipped overseas so they can save themselves a few dollars ( real patriotic wouldn't you say? ) ? That's right, 99% of America.

It did, we've been living in a Socialist country since then.

Obama will transform it to Communist and Muslim, as well as atheist and bicyclists
