How so?

At least there's no universal healthcare yet...then we'd really be socialists.

freefall is the shock jock of the C-D forums, except he's not as clever as most shock jocks. You can safely dismiss his threads as nothing more than chum.

Bush Cheney Paulson Bernanke - the commie gang of 4 are doing a better job than Obama, because Obama would give free healthcare - too socialist, we need the Bush heavy commie party of the rich to take everyones money.

Well, at this stage maybe we need a little socialism.

Marx thought that socialism was inevitable, because capitalism creates class struggles. His view was that capitalism concentrates most of the wealth into a small part of society that will then control the wealth. (sound familiar?) Socialists believe that capital should be distributed more evenly, although that distribution is where even Socialists disagree amongst themselves.

If you talk about Socialism, you have to realize that there are two distinct schools of thought, and other philosophies branching off from those. One school of thought thinks that the government should control everything, the other believes that capital should be in the hands of the government within a framework of a market economy. You could argue that of late we are headed for Socialist school of thought number 2.
