You think suicide and murder are the only ways to have 'some sort of population control?' Not, say, preventing births?

I can't imagine the type of desperation one must feel to kill their family. I hope the remaining family (and friends) are able to heal from this.

The honest truth... if somebody were to die it is more beneficial that it be someone that you disagree with. The loss of human life is a universally accepted tragedy however may as well make the best of it.

As for the OP... its California, I am not surprised in the least bit.

Have you seen the movie or heard about the movie THE BRIDGE? About suicides on the Golden Gate bridge? Pretty good stuff.

I'm sort of surprised that made national news. From my perspective, it was a local event.

In the olden days debt became the burden of one's lineage. Unfortunately something so traditional would never even be contemplated in kalifornia.

You're off to the twit filter for this one; I can't abide by the lack of maturity level.

Even though I don't believe with murdering people for their political beliefs (in this instance), I must say, the country you live in occasionally does kill people in other countries for their political beliefs. They just word it better.

In case you didn't notice, he no longer has any lineage. Secondly, there is no place in the western civilization that has multi-generational mortgage. Not even NY. Japan does and they're so Americanized, it's debatable as to whether they are Western or Eastern. In the free world, men take their debt to the grave. Spouses (not lineage) in many cases may be responsible but never children of the deceased.
