You do realize that being healthy is not all healthcare don't you? No, I didn't think so. [MOD CUT] The food they at and what they drink and so on is what makes a person healthy. Try again, [MOD CUT]

They're referring to these 3rd World Dictators that come over here. This is a source of pride among the right wingers here. That Idi Amin came over for a colon exam and Papa Doc from Haiti had a Doctor in Boca. ..

Oh COME ON! Those are small, homogeneous countries! You can fit THREE Englands in Texas alone! Plus, we've got the Third World at our doorstep and we can't seem to find a way to stop illegal immigration. There is no comparison between our issues and those tiny countries only your list!

Nope. I am talking about Britons, Canadians and tohers that come to this country for the healthcare and for speciality operations. The fact that you don't know about it shows how little you people really. All you know is what you hear in some short blurb from some friend or some blog. learn how to research for once in your pathetic lives.

Nobody here is claiming that any system is perfect or doesn't involve some give and take on aspects of the plan.

Yes taxes will go up, but healthcare costs will go down. Longer waits are likely to occur, but everyone will have care.

Do you realize that ad hominem attacks do nothing for your side?

Health care is one of the things that aids in how healthy a country will be. It's a neat trend you find when looking at the healthiest countries in the world. You find that all the countries in the top spots have publicly sponsored health care.
