What a bunch of doofusses. Any economic "stimulus" by the Feds will increase the deficit. This is part of the remedy to a recession called for by Keynesian economics. Both parties have practiced this basic policy since the 1930s.

It is also true that Dubya gave speeches about having poor people get mortgages. I don't have the link on me right now, but video of these speeches is out there. It is strictly untrue that only Dems advocated for mortgages for the poor since year 2000.
