Won't happen. Romney and Huckabee will likely be back as frontrunners regardless of who wins 2008. Tancredo & Pawlenty may also be in the running. Paul has a solid support base if he decides to run again, although he may shun the party for an Independent run. The Republican party knows Palin is far too conservative to bring in many moderate & independent votes at the top of the ticket.

The odds are if Obama is elected he will serve 2 terms. Maybe by 2016 the GOP's team of brain surgeons will have figured out a way to reverse Sara's lobotomy and completed her brain transplant.

Yes, I have to agree that is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. Even McCain supporters know she is not cut out to run this country. If she makes it into the White House this time around she had better enjoy her few moments(years) in the sun. Because there is just no way she will ever sit in the President's seat. Mrs. Clinton on the other hand, may have a chance yet.

She could flog "Joe the manure shoveler" or "Joe the apple-seller" in her speeches, since I expect by then we'd be in full-blown depression.

I'd throw Bobby Jindal into the race too.

'Won't happen' is such a dangerous phrase in politics. Reagan, Schwartzenegger, Ventura...
