During this political season each cable network has been investigated by viewers and other networks to find out if they have a percieveable bias. In my opinion, FOX is a republican network, MSNBC is a Democratic network, and CNN is relatively independant with occassional democratic leanings. What is your opinion of the FOX Network?

FOX News is the least biased cable network news organization of all the major networks.

FOX NEWS is it biased?

No!

They can't be. They're fair and balanced!

that's fine. I certainly don't fool myself for a second that the Huffington Post is unbiased, I think you'd have to be legally blind to not see the bias.

However, some people actually consider FOX to be unbiased. That is my issue with it. You can agree with them, watch them all you want, but if they are legitimately claiming that they are not a Republican news network, I think there's a problem with that.

Oh, they trumpet their lack of bias long and loud. It's not a legitimate claim though, by any means.

there is no unbiased news source. I think that ABC is probably the most unbiased of the major networks. fox is probably as republican as msnbc is democrat. best bet is to check several sources. a story about an illegal alien who gets deported will be lauded by one network, and turned into a human interest story by another. get the facts of the story and draw your own conclusions.

I think FOX presents BOTH sides of the story very well. Some (well, most) do lean to the left in their presentation of any given item.
