No, it's not socialism. She just shouldn't be in a lower tax bracket than I am. It's pretty simple, really. I happen to have an MBA from a top 10 business school, and an undergrad degree from an Ivy League university in international relations and business. I think I understand what socialism is. On what do you base your brilliant opinion?
Sure you do. That's why your spending your time posting on the City Data forum instead of working....
She still owes about $1700 in penalties. On top of everything, apparently she didn't pull the correct permits for the spa, infinity edge pool and addition. The property appears to be extremely undervalued. Oligarchy at work.
You were wrong on your other post why would anyone take your word on this one.
Are you a property appraiser? What evidence do you have that the property is undervalued?
My point exactly! Oh, and no, I'm not jealous. My DH and I work our butts off to make what we make, and even having to pay what we pay in taxes bugs me, considering how wasteful gov't spending is. I think it's great that Cindy is loaded. I wish I was. My point is that there are many more loopholes for the extremely wealthy, and Bush economics has not improved the situation for the middle class, while the rich have gotten richer. I am the 1st person to say I don't want my hard earned $$ going to some loser who isn't willing to work for what he or she gets.
The "loopholes" are business deductions. Someone as well educated as yourself having an MBA from an "ivy league university" should be able to open a business and make the "loopholes" work for you.
Come to think of it, ANYONE could open a sole propriotorship and make business tax deductions available for them as well. Sole Proprietorships - Financial Web
Exactly. The more we encourage people to learn about FairTax, the better we'll be in the coming years. Unfortunately, only Mike Huckabee and I believe Ron Paul were the only major candidates who understand the benefits of FairTax. Hopefully next election we'll have a nominee who fully supports it. For the next 4 years, continue to inform everyone you know about how well FairTax would work for everyone, regardless of income, if applied correctly.

Where is the link to all these facts?
Were you appointed moderator? You should apply, you seem to need a place to vent your petty control issues.
The property tax amount of ~$3,0000/year seems pretty low for a condo in La Jolla. That's lower than our taxes in Austin- hardly beachfront in California.
Cindy McCain reported earnings of $4.2 million is 2007. Yet she was able to deduct over $500,000, and paid 26% of her income in federal income taxes. Why am I taxed at 28%, and she is paying 26%? John McCain paid 21%. And, I pay a higher % of my income to social security. Why shouldn't Cindy & John pay more? I am so glad that Obama will finally make the wealthiest in our country pay their fair share.
Class envy at it's finest. You DO realize she gives MORE to charity then obama and Biden combined X10. Could you imagine big arsed no boobed michelle adopting a WHITE child, I can't.
