Prior to this, we were pretty good at foiling terrorist attacks on our soil (except for the domestic one in Oklahoma City). Aside from 9/11 and Oklahoma City, every other terrorist attack that has been actually accomplished here, on US soil, has been very small scale.
I wouldn't call the first WTC bombing small scale.

Not saying this is okay, but it's just the way it is.
I've always felt that it was incumbent upon the government to prove ITS case, and IMO they haven't. They just put it out there, then proceeded to marginalize questioners as unpatriotic and then potential terrorists. That as much as the ridiculousness of the merits of the story sent up all kinds of red flags for me.

Unfortunately, I think it will be many generations after we're gone, if ever, that the real story will come out on this.

How many people were killed? Less than 10? That's small scale.

We've had large scale terrorist attacks against us in places like Beirut -- but those were not *in* the USA.

You base the scale on the amount killed, I include the intent, planing involved, damage inflicted, specific target and on US soil.

Al Qaeda is definitely getting a confidence boost directly from the democrats.
