I am talking about the federal government in general. that is the biggest corporation. they have revenue, they attempt to provide services, the get revenue. they only difference between them and a normal corporation, is the feds have more greed, can produce crappy service, and still charge more for it by force.

I didnt know we hated corporations... but then again I also don't deal with Walmart. I can't avoid the oil companies which take up 5 of the top 10 corps with well over $1T in revenues. I expect a fly on the wall could find a great deal of corruption there. I'm not sure what you think is corrupt about WalMart. they certainly will crush anyone in their way but that is what comes with mastering their field, not unlike Microsoft.

I remember when WalMart use to be big on buying American. now nothing in the store comes from here but those "American buying" public still flock there. They didnt stop to notice their prices arent always very competative. People just don't stop to think much. Wall Mart exceeds $1B / day in sales most of which buys from China. I think if WalMart were to fail China would bail them out... probably not... the American taxpayers seem stupid enough to keep picking up the tab.

I guess you need to look to the consrvatives that are supporting your pet peeve. I don't think its the liberals. Most of those country bumpkins vote conservative.

Well sure the federal government could be a corporation. But I would consider it a closer to the mob.
IRS agents probably get the training from the mob.

that could be a thread in itself. "what's your favorite tax law?" how about the fact that you have to pay tax on a capital gains, but you can't write off a capital loss. that's one I love for starters.
