The tread has gone a little off track.

The other school says; it's time to rein in government spending and return to our "real Republican" roots. Of course the thought of reining in the spending when it was theip pet projects never occured to them. But no way do they want to fund Democratic projects.

Anyway, none of them want to "bring a knife to a gun fight".

Think the OP will come back and straighten it out?

Our gov't, especially the left wants us dependent on them and defenseless so we can be easily controlled. Socialism + Gun bans = Servitude.

Things can get much much worse. Unemployment for October is up to 6.1%. You see people filling restaurant parking lots still. Most of us have more than enough food to eat, clothes to wear. We've got computers, internet service, many young are in college, not worried about finding jobs for some time.

We've got our iPods, X-box players and all the very latest game releases. We've got iPhones, and unlimited cell-phone text messaging.

Yes -- it can get a whole lot worse than that.

It would not be wise to outlaw guns or weapons. Look at the liberals with drugs, they just get them from the black market. If you try to ban guns, don't think that open borders won't bring any kind of weapon and there will be no regulation of any kind.

Remember, making something a crime just moves it to the black market and Obama plans to open the borders further.
