Dude, I am not in a closet. I have sex with guys and I'm open about it, as are a lot of the posters here.

There are actually relatively few gay haters around here. We're just interested in the discussions, okay?

Don't you realize that those of a different sexual orientation are HUMANS? What exactly is YOUR problem?

I am not gay. I wouldn't want to take that on for all the Tea in China. Still, it's not fair.

Live and let live.
Yeah, gay hatred is pretty strong on these boards.

Well, I thought you started this thread to make the point that it's absurd to have this many threads, that people shouldn't be so preoccupied with this issue, and we should have resolved it so we'd be talking about other issues that are truly relevant to everyone. (Okay, I guess that was reading a lot into what you said). AnUnidenitifiedMale disagreed about whether the threads should exist, but in the grand scheme of things, and also in the context of the debate, it seemed like that was a minor disagreement between y'all. But maybe I'm missing something...I don't know.

Ok, the tenor of this thread wasn't all that friendly. FWIW, I am NOT a dude. I am a female.

But I do beg to differ. I think there are a LOT of gay haters around here.

There are plenty of people who believe homosexuality is immoral, but I have yet to meet anyone who is truly afraid of people who attempt to mate with the same sex. Like I said, how would they even know what others do at home in private?

The whole "people who think homosexuality are wrong have some kind of mental disorder" is just a straw-man argument.

Remember that this whole brouhaha started when "gay marriage" was proposed. Before that, people pretty much did "live and let live" other than in a few isolated, yet we publicized cases.
Hmm, in a word NO. I remember back in 1977 when I had this guy friend who was gay, who tried REALLY HARD to be straight. This stuff has been going on for a long time.

As for the rest of you post, or the first part, eek? Are you serious?

lol... Oops. Sorry about that. I think most of the posters here are male - that's why I assumed you were too.

I'm actually glad you think there's a lot of gay hate going on here. Maybe I'm used to it, so it doesn't bother me so much.

It's nothing compared to the Rants on Craigslist, though. If you want to see gay hate, take a look. It's brutal.

Hmm, and Craigslist originates out of San Francisco, so I am surprised to hear this.

No worries on the gender issue

There's a version of Craigslist for every city, but even the San Francisco version is filled with vile insults toward gays.

Speaking of gay, here's a theme song and very gay video to go along with your username:

YouTube - Les VO : Bananarama - Moving on (Choupette, Sable)

You do not have to read a gay thread. What compels you to wander to it? If you would like to be in a closet , go for it. The problem is people pushing us into the closet. It is yours now, enjoy it.
