Wow, what an idiot. I mean, amazingly idiotic. To use what little intelligence one has for something so ridiculous is shameful, really.

WASHINGTON – Just when liberals thought it was safe to start identifying themselves as such, an acclaimed, veteran psychiatrist is making the case that the ideology motivating them is actually a mental disorder.

"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded," says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book,
"The Liberal Mind:
The Psychological Causes of Political Madness."
"Like spoiled, angry children,
they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."

Yep this about sums it up for sure!

Ironically, some of the responses sound childish.

I guess it would be atrocious to come up with some faulty "logic" to argue why conservatives are stark-raving mad and write a book about it. That wouldn't okay, but this is.

I'm glad I don't see much of this mentality in my real life.

Why does this stupid thing keep coming up on all discussison boards. This so-called "top psychiatrist" has published a book in a vanity press that he owns, which requires absolutely no credentials or peer review or editorial oversight whatsoever. The address of the publisher of the book and Dr. Rossiters own address in his website are in the same building in suburban Chicago. This man has dedicated years of his life to ranting and raving for the extreme right-wing conservative fringe, and has even less creditility than Bill O'Reilly, in spite of the fact that he appears to have earned a doctorate along the way, which is no proof of his own sanity.

It isn't even worth wasting time rebutting it, because it is nothing but the self-serving opinion of a lapdog of the far-right fringe.

Too bad we don't have universal health care to treat the disorder, huh?
