I think Romney just looks too "slick" for his own good. That might be unfair, but he looks and talks like a consummate politician, which might not be the best thing right now.

He does have that look, but he was one heck of a governor. He outed people that were ripping off the state, but was able to work with both sides of the isle. He is exactly what this country needs right now. Someone that knows how to manage, knows finance and can handle national security. All we can do now is "HOPE" the new guy can learn on the job really fast.

Who are we voting for again? America's next mormon or America's next President?

As to their support of Israel, I believe that may have more to do with support for the much anticipated 'rapture' then anything else. Either that or Jews or more palatable then Muslims.
What I do know is that Romney faced an uphill battle in the south -- he longstanding reps would not vote for him due to his mormon faith. He even had to explain it in interviews, but to no avail.

not voting for a man because of his faith, ****ing losers

Mitt Romney was the best of the lot, but the GOP couldn't get it together soon enough to realize it, hence their fate with McCain. Just as the dims will realize their dire fate with the Chosen One soon enough....
