Well, I am still not sure who OP wants to be the "nutjobs", but is a naive assertion whoever they are....can't lead a horse to water. And many nonpartisan nutjobs had already been released onto the street years ago due to lack of funds to house them, hence the burgeoning homeless, etc. They don't want help, don't see the need for it. I would surmise neither do gays, nor do they need it. They need to be left alone as long as they are good taxpaying citizens contributing to society, who cares??
We as a society are already laden down heavily with healthcare costs, can we really afford to try to help those functioning folks with their alleged mental "woes"?
Hey, as long as they aren't rioting, pillaging and murdering, but instead are contributing and paying taxes, let it go. Anyway, the New Guy wants all our money for his "pet" new deal agendas, doubt he will be pushing for any special "designer" mental health initiatives.
