So, let me make this simple.

1. Anita Dunn, Chairman Mao Fan Club President wanna-be and White House Communications Director, quits ahead of schedule. Some give Glenn Beck credit but nooooooo, it turns out she was just clearing the decks early because something else was in the works.

2. White House Counsel Greg Craig couldn't "get 'er done" with Gitmo so he "quits" on a Friday like they all do.

3. Mister Anita Dunn, a campaign attorney, happens to replace him.

And, oh yeah, just as an aside, in a "What were they thinking!" move that surpasses jaw dropping opening remarks with shout out after the Hasan shootings, just a week prior ---- on a Friday, Eric Holder says they'll try the terrorists in civilian court in NYC.

It's like you can't work a 4/10 schedule in DC anymore because everything happens on a Friday which is also when the substitute media personalities are usually sitting in or they air some taped show, so not the same number of viewers are usually paying attention.

The Dunn thing, most people will say "So what? zzzzzzzzzzz. That was more interesting when we thought Beck nudged her out." The Holder thing could blow up on Obama, politically-speaking, if there is an incident or if any of those guys get off on a technicality.

If that is simple I don't want to see your idea of opaque. What's your point?

Yes, I've noticed this pattern as well.

The FDIC shuts down banks on Friday too after the market close. This way little attention is paid over the weekend and by Monday it's all forgotten.

For the most part, Americans are treated as dumb sheeple and they are living up to the low expectations.

Has anyone seen this on a Saturday morning paper front page ?
"FDIC shuts down 9 more banks after last week's 8 bank shutdowns"

No..buried on page 28 under some huge mattress ad with a generic headline.
They know the majority of Americans are apathetic. They want their free healthcare. They don't care about banks being shut down and the FDIC going broke.

laura, I would probably find it funny if it wasn't so pathetic in a way.
