She failed in the shuttle "diplomacy" during the aftermath of the Lebanese/Israeli war...remember when she suddenly appeared in Israel to 'negotiate' peace talks and no one paid attention to her? Her stature is low.
The president has surrounded himself with people who are amateurs and have sunk his presidency. I think he's an idiot too, but he has particularly unqualified people advising him and Condi is one of the most damaging (besides Karl Rove/Cheney). It's too bad.

Can you believe there are actually some people who think she should run for President? I think she should go back to playing piano.

"She failed in the shuttle "diplomacy" during the aftermath of the Lebanese/Israeli war...remember when she suddenly appeared in Israel to 'negotiate' peace talks and no one paid attention to her?"

It's her fault if people are rude and ignore her when she's trying to help? I would have been heading back to Washington if they treated me that way, but she obviously has more patience than that - is patience an asset? I can't see someone holding a position for several years, making a handful of errors none of which seem to be all THAT important, then losing credibility over those errors? WOW, if I had to list all of the errors I made in the last 6 years it would be some kind of long list. My opinion of her hasn't changed, but then again it takes serious purposeful deception and blatant lies for me to lose faith in someone.

Well the fact that she (as Sec of State) cannot even correctly recall the major events of WW2 is disturbing...must have been sleeping in 9th grade history class.

That's still not a reason to remove her from her position. She couldn't recall the events in one situation, which could be attributed to most anything and not necessarly that she just doen'st know WWII.

She's a specialist in a country that no longer exists. She was Bush I's advisor on the Soviet Union back when the USSR was breaking apart. Her dissertation was on military relations between the USSR and Czechoslovakia. She's becoming a complete joke and thanks to Keith, I now have a new catchphrase ... USE THE GOOGLE!!!
