No descent politician should demean himself by having a conversation with commentators, especially with the likes of Maddow & Degeneres...

Or with comedians...

Politics in America have become...a laughing matter...

You mean commentators like Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity and BillO?

As for Rachel and Olbermann, they have more intelligence in their little fingers than those other four do combined.

Politics in America is tragically laughable.

And who would want that exposed?

Shhh!

You bumped a nearly year-old thread to post that? Sickening.

I love that about her, too. She actually researches her subjects and fact checks, as opposed to just spewing talking points. And I love how she welcomes and challenges the opposition. She also destroyed Tim Phillips of Americans for Prosperity.

So, the more people watch it, the truthier it is?

Rachel Maddow almost requires a college degree to watch. Same thing with Olbermann. Fox news only requires a cold beer and a remote. The most popular show is going to work at the level of its audience. Fox news' logic can be dissected in under 30 seconds and it is almost always faulty.

If having someone with the opposite view as a guest is important, I've seen Rachel do such a thing and in a most tactful manner. Fox news only brings people on to holler at them so the average American psychopath can get a kick out of expressing their misplaced rage through the interviewer.

(Finally, if Rachel wasn't a lesbian, and I wasn't a gay man, I'd be all over her. I find her stunning.)

Oh dear. More false ratings=quality claims. More attacks on someone because of sexual orientation. More attacks on intelligence of two people who are clearly intelligent.

1. Doesn't matter how many people watch any show, it doesn't mean it's a good show. Or network.
2. The degree of hatred expressed by some posters towards gays/lesbians has reminded me that when homosexuality was still considered a psychiatric disorder, extreme hatred toward homosexuals was considered a symptom of latent homosexuality -- homosexual tendencies and desires deeply hidden and repressed.
3. Anyone who denies that either Maddow or Olbermann is intelligent is either lying because they just have to say nasty things about the other side or is simply not bright enough to recognize intelligence when they see it. Or maybe they never listened to either of them and are just repeating more right wing lies....
