I think the point is that when they were named male/female it was because they fit together as male/female. I don't consider it degrading.

Yes, but for the purpose of providing electrical power to a device of some kind. That's not what people are doing. They don't need to have the same "male" and "female" parts.

Electrical, plumbing, mechanical..etc. All use it but you missed the point it was a joke because you said "how many things have human sexuality been referred to in here" or something like that. You didn't get enough turkey did you?

It read like you were. You insinuated that people having sex with other people of the same sex is no better than people having sex with turkeys or bread (however any of that works).
Go back and re-read my posts, and don't read between the lines. Please don't assume when you read. Your assumptions are like putting words in my mouth. I could go back, copy and paste what I wrote in this paragraph, but to do so is futile.

You are correct that killing and raping others is harmful. However, the fact still remains that one's sexuality is completely tied to one's mind. Every action one takes in relation to sexuality, from having heterosexual sex to screwing a watermelon, depends on one's state of mind. So, a rapist finds "sexual" pleasure in raping, a person with a foot-fetish finds sexual pleasure in such act, etc.

A lot of things in relation to sex are quite often harmful, regardless of the type of sex one engages on. Sometimes it can be physical, while other times psychologically harmful. Quite often there isn't much rational thought taking place during sexual arousal.

That's how some of your posts in this thread come off, whether you want them to or not. I didn't have to put words in your mouth. You can re-read your posts in the context of this thread; they are very offensive. But there's no need to dwell on it, really.

I don't disagree with any of this. I don't really see how anyone could. But what does it have to do with same-sex couples who engaging in consensual sex?

Okay--it was a joke. Sometimes it's hard to tell around here.

A male pair of chinstrap penguins in the Central Park Zoo in New York City were partnered and even successfully hatched a female chick from an egg.

About 60% of all sexual activity in bonobo apes is between two or more females.

Male Giraffes stroke each others' necks for 1 hour before mounting each other. It has been observed that 5% of male Giraffes partake in homosexual activity at any given time.

Almost 40% of male Guianan C*ck of the Rock (har har) birds are homosexual and only a few of them mate with females.

All of this makes me wonder.... How can this be, since homosexuality is a choice?

I really don't see a problem with it as long as they don't try to redefine marriage in the US and force their choices and values on the rest of us.
