"... we believe today’s healthcare environment
has fundamentally changed, and, more
importantly, is unsustainable."

Of course it is unsustainable. Look at the charts of the percentage of GDP that is going to health care costs and how it is growing. It is alarming.

bankruptcy "medical bills" - Google Search

Medical bills are leading cause of personal bankruptcy,
I don't know anyone who argues that point - at least, I have seen no one doing so

Are we talking about access to healthcare, or the potential financial burdens?

Because, if you talk about financial burdens, I'm sure we can come up with a multitude of examples where someone, with a marvelous health insurance policy, that pays all of their bills, still has filed for Bankruptcy due to being off the job for 2/3/4 months etc and has lost income.

What would you suggest we do in cases like this? The medical bills got paid - but, they still lost their house -

"Actually I don't want to do anything,I simply don't want YOU making my decisions for me."

It's too late for that - it's called democracy. I guess you're living in the wrong country.

I can tell you if one of the largest global corporations in the world is saying that the health care burden in American is becoming too great and is unsustainable - that is an issue.

GM stated that their health care assistance to employees is adding $1500-2000 dollars/vehicle sold.

This is aiding these companies to shut down plants and white collar support jobs in the U.S. and transfer them to low cost regions of the world.

This weakens America.

"Competition" for open health care is a flawed model and affects people in ways they do not realize.

Competition? There is no free market with health care. We could just as argue that the burden of regulation is what is driving costs up.
