5'9" I weigh 165 lbs. Not fat and toned for a 46 year old man.
Why am I not fat? Whoa I work out. I watch the food I eat and never eat until I feel stuffed. Not even yesterday.
Some Obease people due to genetics or a medical condition have an excuse. The rest? Self inflicted and like so many other problems refuse to accept responcibility for their flab. Its McDonalds fault. If they sold healthier foods then I wouldn't be fat.
How about you are fat so don't eat at McDonalds? Don't eat a whole tray of pizza by yourself. Don't eat until your about to pop. How about you eat smaller meals and snake of fruits or veggies?
How about accepting you did it to yourself? We don't need the gov to dictate how we eat. We need to take it upon ourselves to eat healthy foods.
Look at Ted Kennedy. I am willing to bet he never said no to seconds of anything.

I think it's a great idea. After living in Asia for several years, I was always amazed when I arrived in a US airport at the obesity. It's creating huge health care problems and quality of life issues as well as productivity.

Kennedy AKA Mr. Healthcare sets a terrible example.

Nobody HAS an excuse for being obese or overweight, nobody. So stop blaming it on genetics or illnesses.

God said that Gluttony is a sin. Now obey God now!

The obese, who are addicted to food, can simply switch to Obama's "cool" addiction, smoking! So little is said of his dirty little habit by the media. McCain's melanoma was mentioned ad nauseum, but not a peep about the dire mortality of smoking. The hypocrisy neverending.

This group, the Public Health Advocacy Institute, sent its wish list of suggestions in to the transitional teams. Obama probably doesnt even know about it.

Yes, saw where they also have as health project that of tobacco control. But did not see it as part of the "wish list". Of course, there is an obesity epidemic and they are to be commended for this action. Not sure why it was chosen over such a deleterious addiction as tobacco.

I'm sure Barry has been dragging down his Marlboro 100's to calm the nerves over this obesity crisis... poor guy.
