Abortion. That's sad. Of course, abortion is the biggest cause of death in many other countries, too. The cause of 22% of the deaths each year here. Our average life expectancy is actually only 68.5 years counting the aborted and miscarried.

The #1 cause of death in America is...

asking people questions like; "what's the #1 cause of death in America"?

That's interesting - according to the CDC, it's heart disease.

Pointless thread.

Another example of people wanting to push their religious beliefs onto everyone else.

Just saw a bumper sticker:

Don't like abortion? Don't have one.

I wonder if this type of slanted information takes into consideration that it has been estimated that as high as 20 percent of pregnancies do not survive the first trimester. Let's not forget that the estimated rate of stillborn infants is 1 out of every 115 births. Therefore a HUGE HUGE number of fetuses who are aborted would not have made it to full term anyway and should not even be counted.

I can understand abortion for several reasons... but when the numbers keep increasing every year ... it only reminds me how irresponsible Americans are becoming and always looking for the "easy" way out... I think abortion is okay but at the same time, I don't advocate a free-for-all in going to do abortions as easily as buying a hamburger... there should be some "kind" of requirement because... having an abortion is not the same as ordering a hamburger... and should never be viewed in that manner...
