"Wow - what a worthy goal." I told her, "You don't have to wait until
you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow, pull
weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50.

She thought that over for a few seconds 'cause she's only 6. And while
her Mom glared at me, the little girl looked me straight in the eye and

And I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party."

Her folks still aren't talking to me.
HA! HA! HA!

Thanks for the laugh...

Vets make up about 25% overall. Still a pretty good chunk.

The post that I replied to said:
Quote:
... is a large percentage of homeless ...
Which to my reading seemed to imply that a majority of homeless are vets.

In this area, a minority of the homeless are vets.

I don't understand that people are so serious about a joke......wow there isn't enough laughing these days and now I understand why....

Brown is the new Black...people get upset...racism.
Gay is the new black...racism
White is the new black...I didn't anybody get mad....

To me it all is about fashion and colors, except for the gays, if they want to be called the new black..so be it and it is just a frase on a sign.....laugh and have fun

Oh, hell, this has been circulating through the internet for years! A couple of firends sent this to me at least two years ago. I can't believe people are actually questioning where a joke originates from. Lame.

Maybe because it wasn't a joke? You didn't think it was when you posted it. You apparently didn't expect (shame on you) anyone to call you on plagarism. So now you are being torn a new one. This 'innocence' displayed in your last post is so pathetic though. I had a boss once who would have a field day with you. She could look at you pityingly and say "stop it, please, just stop, you are embarassing yourself" in such a way that you just wanted to crawl in a hole and never come out again.

I haven't spoken to her since.
I love this version!

How is homelessness funny, Bentlebee? How is it a joke?

Several people who have posted on here volunteer with homeless people- myself included. To call the situation anything but SERIOUS would be the joke.

Gee, I'd like to assume that people who claim their party supports individual initiative would at least accredit it.
