I don't think you're representing his work accurately.

his reasoning was that the brotherhood of workers would make capitalists an unnecessary 3rd wheel. a big and false assumption.a personal whim nothing more. not very compelling argument any more than yours that christianity will simply fade away as irrelevant and unnecessary. your posts will insure that christianity stays a long long time. my adversaries have helped me much more than my friends.

Completely agree...almost EVERY war has been caused by religion. Even today, even RIGHT NOW! People aren't blowing themselves up in schools in the name of science.

I think you'd have to admit that history shows that time is on the side of the unbeliever in any given religion. They come and they go. Each represents the "source of identity" of a multigenerationally cohesive social group. When the social group eventually loses cohesion, the religion dies.

You're conveniently forgetting about the Soviet Union and China. Cold War aggression by the atheists put the entire world at peril.

NO!!! That is absolutely not Marx's reasoning. You obviously DON"T UNDERSTAND SOCIALISM!!! Marx has given a very detailed analysis as to why Capitalism would fall. It has NOTHING to do whatsoever with wishful thinking, it is not predicated upon faith or fantasy or myth. It relies upon logical thinking. You should refrain from EVER posting anything about Socialism again until you've done some research, because if your post is supposed to demonstrate your knowledge of Marx's philosophy, it fails, in that it only shows that you have no knowledge whatsoever of Socialism!!

but the fall of capitalism did not happen as predicted by marx. nor the fall of religion as was predicted by this thread. so both are wishful thinking aren't they?
