Agreed. I don't understand the appeal of electing leaders who are perceived to be "just regular people." Maybe we should extend the logic further and only elect those who don't have a college degree. After all, most Americans don't have a 4-year degree, so maybe our President shouldn't have one either.
I would not want a regular person running this country! POTUS is a tough job..needs a smart person! not some youbetcha speaking soccer mom.

Guess again. It is and always has been both, this because the offices are listed on the ballot in every state (etc.) across the nation.
