I too, love Chicago, I was born and raised there.
I recall mayor richard j. daley's order in the 1968 race riots order "shoot to kill".
I also recall the dirty rotten scoundrel politics played out in Chicago, and Illinois too for that matter.
I don't think there is a state, nor a city, other than Chicago or Illinois that has had the stigma of corruptive government as this.
I wished they would clean up their acts, and I just don't want them to say they're going to do it either, because this is what the present governor of Illinois pledged during his campaign.
I'm sure, you fellow Illinois'ans are weary and tired of the dirty politics played out in your state. I wish you good luck replacing your present gov.
