Hey that guy has more hair than our Texas Governor, Rick Perry.

Never trust a guy that age with that much hair and no gray...

If it didn't, then maybe you'd be right. Too bad we don't have Patrick Fitzgerald as our President. But then again, honest guys like him aren't going to advance in IL politics.

You have to suck up to the sleaze in IL and Chicago, ask Obama, look at his coterie.
Again, when you can show me something tangible Obama has done which is corrupt, come back to me.

Everett Dirksen was a good one from ILL? A GOP Senator who was fiscally conservative and socially progressive (FOR civil rights).

One corrupt politician falls, tens of thousands to go.

Have any of the back-and-forth people considered that maybe the reason corruption is so high in places like Alaska, Illinois, and Oklahoma is that those are states where people vote on social issues instead of good government?

You can take bribes, embezzle funds, and sell government secrets and get elected in Oklahoma as long as you bash gays. Do the same thing in Illinois and claim your constituents are helpless victims of corporations and you win.

It's states where people aren't obsessed with who they're victims of (gays, corporations, whatever) where good government runs clean.

I would add that in California, you can take bribes, embezzle funds, sell government secrets, and run up an enormous state budget deficit as long as you say you're for "a woman's right to choose," or basically say that capitalism and entrepreneurship cause global warming.

If I were Obama advisor David Axelrod, I'd be watching my back very carefully right now......We wouldn't want to put "Axelrod" and "Fort Marcy Park" in the same sentence if you know what I mean...

I agree with you. You just seem like you are mad cause he is a Dem. If you know about this state this is like not surprising at all. Probably almost all of Illinois politicians made a bid for that seat that is how you win in this state buy your spot.
