Because it's not a socialist trait?

It can be both applied to Fascists and Socialists.

It's just a level of control.

Isn't socialism usually defined as government ownership of industry?

They oppose government-run medicine, schools, and grocery stores. Seems inconsistent.

PA has state liquore stores and it is most definetly a democrate majority state. Its not a party issue but a money grubbing state issue.

"state liquor monopolies in Wyoming"

Huh? Are you referring to the Liquor Commission?
Issuance of licenses by each county and city?

Not sure what you mean by that. Wyoming's liquor stores are all privately owned businesses.

The state government is the only wholesaler. Look it up.

What ever was the reason for it when it was started, is almost irrelevant now because, it's a source of revenue for the state.....it's hard enough to create a budget and not fall behind into deficit, they're not going to eliminate a source of revenue if they don't have to.

Just for the record, PA is not a Democrat majority state when it comes to electoral politics, only 5 of the last 6 governors have been Democrats and when the state system of liquor stores was established Pennsylvania was a decidedly Republican controlled state.
