I highly doubt that Powell would ever have the guts to indentify and publicly discuss the Neocon Jew and Likudist wrecking crew that took over the Republican Admn. under Bush. Had Powell done so, instead of saying the "GOP needs to look in the hearts of non-Whites" blah, blah, blah, then maybe people could respect him.
If Republicans naievely fall for these left-wing claims that being too conservative and polarizing is what cost McCain the election, they will never win another Presidential election, and they will find local ones even harder to win. McCain lost the election because he wasn’t conservative, he was stabbed in the back by non-White racists he tried to pander to, and because he didn’t play to the White Vote. I firmly believe that a very large percentage of potential McCain Voters either stayed home or voted for a third party candidate.
The very worst thing that can happen is for the GOP to move towards the anti-White racist positions that the Democratic Party now holds as their platform.

A few short months ago, we saw comments on this forum from right wingers who said things like, "I wish Colin Powell would run for president. He's a black guy I could vote for!"
Now, the right wingers are accusing him of racism for supporting the candidate who won in a landslide, mostly because Powell's former party has self-destructed.

2) Powell's literal stab-in-the-back of the GOP faithful (who trusted him) ought to be a WAKE UP call to White people everywhere that pandering to anti-White racists and non-Whites doesn't work.
Look at Powell. All that affirm action, all that pandering, all that faith put into him by Whites with good-hearts and minds -- and what does Powell do?

I'm not sure you read through the posts here.
1) Nobody criticized Powell's military service.
2) It is a known fact that he benefited early on (his promotion) from GOP affirm action at the cost of more qualified White generals.
3) Powell didn't vote for his fellow veteran McCain, instead choosing someone with no military knowledge whatsoever.
4) Powell wouldn't have stabbed the GOP in the back had Obama been White.
5) Race is the most salient voting issue, for every single race but the White race, and Powell is proof of it, along with the Black Republicans too.
6) If Powell wanted to criticize the Neoconservative Jews, AIPAC, JINSA et al who brought us this war, he should have the balls to do so, not trash "Republicans" many of whom were anti-Neocon anyway. Bush failed the American conservatives greatly.
7) Powell has it wrong. The GOP lost the election by not catering to the White voters. All the pandering to non-White racists (i.e. McCain with LaRaza, McCain with Leiberman and Jews/Israel-firsters), etc. -- none of it paid off for the GOP as they didn't get hardly any non-White and anti-White racists' votes despite all the pandering. Powell is wrong anyway you slice it. The GOP moving to the Left gave us GWB and McCain, and both are losers and outright race traitors. One thing is for sure, Obama will not sell out his race's interests like GWB and John McCain did, because Obama is a racistly aware person.
Connections helped W to what he is. Sure there is no "formal" program but he did get undue advantages - like, in this case, becoming a President (we know how well that worked out).
So? Connections have no relevance to "tokenism". I think you may be unsure of the terminology you emply.
