He needs to be glad that was all that was thrown.
He is standing there telling people of that country that invading them was the right thing to do even though most of them did not want us there.
Hey give the SS credit. They moved significantly faster than on 9/11.

And here I thought Bush was rigid and inflexible.
He definitely dodged and weaved pretty well there.
Must be from all that practice he got while hunting with Cheney.

Instead of the stiff, rather humorless 'neo-con' we've all come to expect, turns out that Bush is actually a pretty 'hip' guy....just call him a SOLE BROTHER.....(and after he gets BOOTED out of Washington next month, he should be a SHOE-IN for Mayor of Crawford....if he wants the job)....

Maybe it's just a cultural thing...

Maybe the Iraquis greet their liberators by taking their shoes off and throwing them at them...
Maybe the guy ran out of rose petals...

I really think a lot of the responses on this thread are pretty sad. I am not a Bush lover or supporter, but c'mon, you folks seem to wish him real harm.

He's going to be out of there in a little over a month; just let it go.

Maybe he's not as strait-laced as we thought. Although his tongue gets him in a lot of trouble with his arch enemies. He's still a real heel.
