Do you think that this compilation of his web of deliberate misinfo is... misleading? MM documents every twist, insinuation and lie that they include here.
The big picture it paints should remind fans to take these guys strictly as entertainment.
Media Matters doesn't baselessly attack, they back up everything they state. Have you ever even been to their site?
They back up everything with their version of the truth. Which is the same thing Hannity does. I will say that the posts on MM are typically more professional and tactful than Hannity, but that doesn't undo the fact that they are simply reversing the spin to the left from the right.
And yes, I have been to their site many times. Probably more times than most of their readers have ever been to Hannity's site or watched his show.

Ann Coulter announced that she is scheduled to appear on the January 6, 2009, edition of NBC's Today show to promote the release of her new book, Guilty: Liberal "Victims" and Their Assault on America (Crown Forum, January 2009). As Media Matters for America documented,
Quote:
NBC has repeatedly provided Coulter a platform to spew her inflammatory rhetoric
even as NBC-affiliated hosts and anchors -- including Today co-hosts Meredith Vieira and Matt Lauer, Tonight Show host Jay Leno, Hardball host Chris Matthews, Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, and CNBC's The Big Idea host Donny Deutsch -- have expressed disapproval of, in Leno's words, Coulter's "harsh" and "nasty" statements, or criticized the media for promoting her.
Like her or not, if they are going to let other slimes promote their book, wouldn't fair journalism be to allow people of opposite viewpoints to promote a book? Not if you are MM. Since Ann is mean, they are very angry about it an mad that NBC would give her air time. This is the same kind of shuck and jive that Hannity does. As a matter of fact, I might have been being too nice saying MM is slightly more tactful and professional than Hannity. If their blogs were a program instead of words on a screen, they might come across just as snide, arrogant, and repulsive as Hannity.

But how does your example classify as "misinformation"?

My example was to show that their topics and language are pretty much like reading some of Hannity's transcripts, except the angle is reversed from left to right.
