One of my beliefs, and I thank my parents, is that kids do best when they are not forced into a belief (scientific or religious) but are allowed to explore both sides and arrive at their own conclusion over time. However, my view has been vehemently opposed by many staunchly religious folks, suggesting it is brainwashing. Well, that would be hypocrisy... if one doesn't let science anywhere close.

I enjoy this, sorry if it stresses you out. Dubya was never given a chance. As far as your characterization of his Administration that is your opinion. Even if it were true he wouldnt deserve the vile hatred leveled at him by you and your press.

you are the hater

it's your country too, but your baseless hatred and intolerance is unproductive, self destructive, but it certainly exemplifies the sad state of the RNC and it's followers. It must be a real chore to get up every morning with such a load of irrational hate as part of your being, you have my sympathy.

Actually he was given a chance. If you'll remember, as upset as some Democrats were about the outcome of an election that some still view as illegitimate, the entire county pretty much came together to support Bush after 9/11. He squandered that goodwill with a manufactured war and a proven disregard for the Constitution of the United States. I'd say he was given a fair shot. He just blew it.

I wasn't speaking for you, I don't know you and I'm pretty sure I don't like you so I was speaking for myself and all of the Democrats (and actually Republicans for that matter) who think he has run this country into the ground in the past eight years.

He was.

But here's the amusing part... McCain/Palin campaign wanted no part of his legacy either and that makes you a part of minority still in denial.

The left never gave anyone a fair shake. The “unity” shown immediately following 9/11 was an act to keep their poll numbers up by not appearing un-patriotic, and they were willing to continue this charade as long as the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were going well. As soon as the going started getting tough in Iraq however, the left once again saw their chance to increase their popularity by going on the attack and reliving their antiwar glory days of the 60’s and 70’s. The numerous comments that slipped out about US soldiers being occupiers, destroyers, rapists, Nazis, Pol Pots, etc, from all levels of the Democratic leadership tipped their hand.

I disagree. I'm a Democrat and even I was suckered in after 9/11. That's why I don't really fault the Democratic (or Republican) senators for authorizing the war. They were all suckered in by false intelligence and a sense of patriotism and unity after 9/11. I think he was given a fair shot and, like I said before, he blew it.
