I think the military in this country should perform its sworn duty to protect the Constitution of the United States from enemies, "both foreign and domestic". I think the Military should surround Washington DC in the middle of the night and arrest every Democrat and Republican it can lay its hands on.
They should also take over the media outlets and arrest all the broadcast networks CEOs and talking heads. Then they should conduct tribunals to show to the American people how the people now running this country are all in a grand conspiracy fueled by corruption and blackmail to subvert this country to another country's agenda. When they are finished, they should line every one of them up against a brick wall, fill them full of lead and nuke that meddling foreign country until it is one large, deep hole into which the Mediterranean Ocean has roared, drowning whoever is left.

I don't know if you got this off of a blog or some other web site, but it just isn't true. It isn't even a good rumor. Not blaming you.....just letting you know that so much gets repeated that just isn't so.
Clinton lied about a BJ, and the outrage and demand for impeachment was a fire storm.
Bush lies and starts a war, costing 100's of thousands of lives, and no one seems to give a damn.
Carter refused to take his national security advisor's advice to install a new government in Iran resulting in loss of a key military ally and the birth of a totalitarian Islamo-fascist terrorist theocracy that is building nuclear weapons, supporting terrorist and executing minors and religious converts. The Soviet Union saw Carter's inability to make a difficult decision as a green light to invade Afghanistan. Iran and Iraq went to war because the US was no longer an Iranian ally. Iraq invaded Kuwait because Iran was no longer a US ally. Al Queda used Afghanistan as a home base from which to launch terrorist attacks including the 9/11 attacks which were supported from Afghanistan for five years prior to 9/11 because Iran was no longer a US ally. The Iraq war that we now find ourselves in is the direct result of the indecision of Carter at a critical moment. He had the ability to install a new government but refused because he wasn't sure what to do. He had no idea then and still doesn't know today that you can't negotiate anything with Islamic terrorist.
It wasn't a blank check for revenge it was a blank check for national defense. Guess what it worked. Not only that but to accomplish what was accomplished in any previous generation that demonstrates anything less than current american military strenght would have cost perhaps hundreds of thousands of our brave young men and women.
Furthermore, (and I know you are not one of them), noone ever stops to consider the consequenses of not going, only there sometimes skewed consequences -of going. A world without Saddam, damn good world if you ask me,- for us and for them.
All of this ridiculous chatter will end once Obama does what he has already indicated he will do and that is continue the Bush policies. If he does anything different and we get hit again, he's done and he knows it. The nonsense that liberals keep droning on and on about is an effort to avoid answering questions about what this change" really means. See, "change" is just the same old washed up liberalism that we canned years ago. There is nothing new under the sun and liberalism is still liberalism. Calling it "change" doesn't mean it differs in any way from the tax and spend government all up in your business lefty lunacy we made clear we don't want. If Obama goes hard left he's done and he knows it.
He should be given a medal and we can only hope that future Administrations show the courage, competence and bravery that George Bush has lead this country with.

What is possible, albeit amazing, is that 94/196 people have remained clear-eyed and sane despite the fear peddling by Bush.
Give him a fair trial. He deserves his day in court to prove his innocence, exactly like Bill Clinton.
If he is not guilty, let him be acquitted and go away. If guilty, let him go to the bottom of Supermax and ponder the view of an open stainless steel toilet for the rest of his natural life.

Folks that believe not just a President but an entire nation should be placed on trial for what amounts to benign waterboarding "torture", and launching an army in self defense against Islamo Fascists.
So called torture that may have saved thousands of American lives maybe even yours or someone you know or love(if you love anybody but yourself). You folks are the ones that should be on trial,- for treason! One hundred years ago you would be on trial and very likely some words written here would make you eligible to be summarily shot.
Alas, here we are today and in a fashion you are on trial or will be over the next four years. As you say you deserve and will get your trial but just like O.J., people with a brain know you are guilty of all of the aforementioned.
