I think their way of life is a little strange. But they seem happy, and they are apparently self sufficient, so it is really no one else's business. The biggest issues I have are the toll it must be taking on Michelle's body, their large carbon foot print, and the very sheltered way they are raising their kids. But, again, not my business.
And the fact that the older kids are raising the younger ones. They didn't ask for that. it was not their choice to spend their teen years playing mom.
If everyone in the country had this mentality do you think it would work? Seriously, consider the repercussions? I am not as against it now that I read the site in detail and see that he fully supports them. You have to remember I come from a town were people have 8+ kids except their welfare rejects, I may be a bit bias.
The mom and dad are very scarey people. I'm a degreed psychologis and can tell you straight up; the father is hugely sociopathic and narcisistic. The mother is another sad case all together.

8 kids on welfare is not ok with me, either. I actually think there should be some kind of birth control implemented in cases like that.

I know someone who had to be babysitter to her numerous siblings. She now decided against having children because she felt she already did her share of raising kids.
