[Caroline Kennedy] has all the qualities--intellectual curiosity; a friendly, at times pointed, sense of humor, and a deferential manner (she hails her own cabs)--that are the stuff of a good legislator.
She hails her own cabs! This is what passes for a common touch these days? Lots of New Yorkers can't even afford cabs and ride the subway instead.
For crying out loud, when are the celebrities going to get out of politics? Frankly, I had high hopes for John, Jr., until he pulled that death wish to fly in bad weather. Camelot cannot happen again, folks.

Ugh! I cannot stand how we are so impressed with lineage and bloodlines. Maybe this is the way some people compensate for not being European? Here is our Royalty - The Kennedys, The Bushs, The Clintons and who? The Gores? I really cannot think of any other republican dynasties at the moment.....certainly not Qualye!
