I was watching a story on CNBC last night, about the madoff scam. CNBC had this couple on the screen who had lost "millions" to this scammer. and now, they can't afford to make the payments on their MOTORHOME in arizona, they made a down payment on a lot to park their big bus on, and they've even lost that, because of this guy. I must say, I was not touched by their story. What is touching to me is millions of people out of work, losing their homes and cars, and having to go on public assistance programs, which are being stretched to their limits too. So, I don't feel sorry, not one bit to the poor little rich folks who are losing everything to scams. if they were intelligent enough to invest, they should've been intelligent enough to "not put all of their eggs into one basket". They didn't diversify, which is what most wise investors do.
