As Tina Fey as Sarah Palin put it "I believe marriage is a sacred institution between two unwilling teenagers."

heres the 10th reason

10) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

this is funny. except, this type of humor is lost on many people.

i support marriage equality for all people.

Well, I remember watching pretty much all of the debates this year & gay marriage was barely a blip on the radar.

And it would have remained that way had Prop. 8 not passed in California.

I'm still somewhat amused by the idea that Prop. 8 supporters just thought they could take away rights from a group of people, invalidate 18,000 marriages, and that everything would be hunky dory.

I can be amused because Prop. 8 is mostly symbolic to me. For the married couples and their children who are no longer sure if they're legally a family, most of them probably aren't so amused.

Exactly. What did people think, that those people that were married & then got it stripped from them would just sit down, sigh & say "Well, better luck next time. By golly, maybe they're right, maybe we were stupid for thinking this was ok. How stupid of us! Let's go get a latte & plan our vacation next year".

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that 5% of people are gay, I honestly don't know...Going with 5%, nearly all will vote. Another 10-15% are in support, whether it's moral beliefs or having a friend/family member whom they know. So now it's 20%...Oh wait, of the other 80% non-supporters most likely only half will actually vote...Now it's 40% of non-gay voters vs 20% pro-gay voters...Recalculate and now your 5% equals 33%...Obviously I'm just throwing numbers down but I think you get the point

#10. Boys kissing boys creeps insecure males out, so it needs to be outlawed out of fear & hate (see Proposition 8 The Musical).

why would you care about others opinion? why not keep it between you and your partner. why do gays need to boast their gay out in public?

why are their sexuality parades? this is bizare

I've always wondered that; why need a parade to celebrate your sexuality? I don't support gay marriage but it doesn't bother me; who you choose to marry is your business.
