Why would you wish that level of suffering on any large, sundry group of people who haven't caused you any harm collectively? Blacks should not have had to fight so hard, and neither should other minority groups. I don't understand your line of reasoning.
And I can't help but be leery of generalizations about the entire black community and its philosophies. Is any group that cohesive?
gays can not and should not be compared to any race of people period it is a behavior.
I was watching celebrity rehab the other day and they had Rodney King talking about the horrible police attacks. He stated he had later went to the courts and there was a gay rally outside. Said that the gay protesters stopped rallying for the gay rights issue and got behind/showed immense vocal support for King. He stated he was alarmed that they would stop/fully support him and was very proud that they woud do that. It's all about equality for everybody.
Oh, wonderful! Supporting a career criminal who once beat a store owner with a tire iron!
Where are people's common sense these days? And what does King (again, a career criminal) have to do with equality?
To have sex or not to have sex is a choice that we all make which is why sexual preferences is a choice.
That statement doesn't even make sense! If that were true, you could decide to be a lesbian. I know you're pretty much never rational or reasonable, but surely even you know that you couldn't will yourself to want to spend the rest of your life married to a woman.
And let me just say this to anyone, as a virgin. Who you decide to have sex with, who you want to have sex with, whether or not you've had sex...that does not make your orientation, nor does it make your relationships. Thankfully, there's a hell of a lot more to a relationship than sex.
