Hoover caused greed? Oh glory be.

Of the ones I'm somewhat familiar with, 1. being worst and on an ascending scale:

1. Obama

5. Lincoln
6. LBJ
7. Clinton
8. Carter
9. Poppy Bush
10. Bush

IMO by far the greatest, in breadth and depth of accomplishment and nobility of purpose, is George Washington.

That's a good try, but no kewpie doll.

George Washington was the first president, but before that he was CIC of the Continental Army. After the Revolution there was a movement to make him ka king, which he rejected. He went so far as to refuse pay for his tenure as Commander in Chief. He was the Father Of His Country, yes, but he was also Father of the Padded Expense Account.

Instead of taking his salary, he asked the country to pay his "expenses", and damn near bankrupted the country eating, drinking, and making merry. Google it.

One person nearly bankrupted the country by eating, drinking, and partying? If that was true, then George Washington must have been more superman than man!

Google it.

It may be a slight exaggeration on my part, but they certainly wished that he had chosen to be paid instead of agreeing to cover his expenses.

Nice sarcasm. Yes humans have always been greedy. A good president has us go past our greed and doesn't cater to our greed.

Our greed will eventually do a few things if you really think about it, first it will make each of us so self centered that it will weaken the nation. It will also make us burn through all of our resources until we have nothing left. Thing about market greed and what they want to do to protected environmental areas. (Yes I'm probably overblowing this a little, but we know trees produce oxygen, and I like having lots of them in this world for that reason) Think about market greed and what farmers have to do when demand drives up their property value. (I'm thinking of citrus farmers in Florida, and last time I checked, citrus does a lot of healthy things for us and it only grows in certain areas)

Back to my point, a good president is one who doesn't give in to our greed for short term gain because in the long term, it will hurt the nation.

I still think Reagan was the worst. Then I'll also put Harding and Coolidge on that list as well as W. To me these guys and the policies/mentalities they promoted, or allowed to proliferate were the ones that are harmful to our country.

Please tell me you don't vote.
Unfortunately, far to many people vote for dumb reasons. Maybe there should be a policy understanding test to get a ballot.

I have spoken there is no need for further debate on this subject.

If you do not believe me you will remember this several years from now when you will be crying about how horrible this administration of Ivy league lawyers elitists, socialists, marxists have destroyed this country.
But, by then it will be too late!

I have spoken!
They won't be allowed to speak out several years from now.

B. Hussein Obama has done more harm to this country than any previous President. FDR and Carter are close.
