c'mon senor dreary apathy, no need to be so humble. we've seen quite a bit more than that under Bush's watch.
Sure we have...but we've seen nothing truly extraordinary.
5000 years of recorded human history shows us that it's peace that is the anomaly.
We would have seen worldwide warfare whether it was Bush or Gore or Kerry in office for the last eight years. We even saw continuous worldwide warfare under Clinton. And we'll see it under Obama, as well.
Seen nothing... extraordinarily... stupid? I and 80% of a recent Gallup Poll would disagree.
In terms of the the world being at war, which, I believe, is what this thread was about.
Nothing has happened under Bush that hasn't happened before. The idea that there's any more war in the last 8 years than there was before or will be in the future is beyond laughable.
BTW, approval ratings for Congress has consistently been lower than Bush's, for what it's worth.
Still subscribe to the "I don't like the truth, so lets discredit, ignore, and close the thread, to hell with the reality of the truth expressed" I do recognize that is the only method that anyone that supports Bush's failures has, and one can only pity someone so confused and clueless.

Maybe he's just borrowing a favorite tactic of the left?
Kinda like how you're addressing the guy here that isn't trying to actually make an argument, rather than the guy who has made a pretty good argument as to why the original idea presented in this thread was pretty silly.
Wow. W is the sole reason that the world is in it's current state. One guy and one country has caused the whole bloody mess. Is this what some call "blame America first"? As if the US has the sole power to bring world peace. LMAO. Well, peace through superior firepower maybe but that would be "evil". If we don't get involved in the affairs of other countries we are "evil". If we do get involved we are 'war criminals". It's a never ending circle. When Obama FAILS to bring that elusive wisp of smoke called "world peace" will be be defamed as badly as past US leaders? Wewill see.....
