I think he belongs to a union... and in those outdoorsy cultures you dont have to be the go-back-to-school type to do well financially.... they'll be fine. I hope they do marry and live happily ever after.

His name is actually Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston.

Bristol hasn't even graduated from HS.
Believe it or not, kids do get married in high school, so that has no bearing on anything. Their marriage is set for some time next year.

No, let's not, but we can pick on its parents for giving it another stupid redneck name rather than migrating back to "normalcy"...the thought of that whole crew anywhere near Pennsylvania Avenue frightened the crap out of me.

I knew someone who named her child Jihad.

I knew someone whose last name was Phyllis who named her child Sy.

Oh and then how about Adolph Hitler Campbell (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081217/ap_on_fe_st/odd_hitler_cake - broken link)? That's normal huh?

I actually like the name Tripp, but of course the first thing one has to wonder upon hearing it is does that mean Bristol and her lucky guy do acid?

Oh wow she had a baby...what an accomplishment!!!Nobody's ever done that before.

Not supposed to talk about the Palin kids but if they have a baby then it's just fine ?????....

Ya, it's WONDERFUL to have an illegitimate baby at such a young age...OH! And even more wonderful is making her parents GRANDPARENTS! What a super thing to do! What an encouragement to young girls everywhere...have BABIES! It's a good thing!
