I had to vote economy. If automakers want the bailout $$$, I say they should acquire the parts used to assemble american cars with american made auto parts. the economy of america should be first and foremost on his mind, and hopefully, obama can walk, talk and chew gum, and smoke a cigarette at the same time, which I think he can. good thread lulu!

who says we need to do war?

Get the UN out of the USA and the USA out of the UN. The USA does not need the UN to do any kind of war. If another country causes harm to us, we should not have to go to the UN begging hat in hand for help. Just do it ourselves.

I think that Obama should 'fix the Middle East' but I don't mean by convential means; I mean we need to learn from the Russians lick our wounds and go home. If we don't listen to the lessons that history teaches us we are destined to repeat it. Let's just get out now and save that 3 billion a week and invest it in our economy and infrastructure.

Good post.

I'm OK with us leaving as long as it's clear to them that if they commit terrorism against us we will kill everyone involved. No 2nd chance, no discussion.

A position that the United States has rarely--if I may be allowed a bit of understatement--ever taken. Just march right in and kill "everyone." OK...if it makes you happy to think that might happen.

I think people these days think everything is like a first person shooter video game, or they miss the days of Hiroshima or something.

Why does one preclude the other? Let Clinton work on the Middle East, back her 100%, while Obama can work on the Economy.
