If we do it right and drill in places that our scientists have said we are likely to find oil, than go for it. Even if it doesn't produce as much as we would like, even 1 gallon less that we have to buy from some not so good governments is good in my book, and hopefully it would create more jobs for Americans.

again, what is wrong with creating good jobs in the USA and putting Our money into Americans wallets...Offshore workers make great money. They will then spend that money in our economy. I know Commifornia will not let any drilling happen off there coasts....and that is fine...they already pay one of the most in taxes for fuel. You need money to make money...and NO you cant keep printing it to make more...Use your natural resources to make Money...reinvest into education and high tech.

Americans have no idea how much they are missing out. Gas prices are through the roof right now and just making more laws to prohibit drilling can seriously hurt our economy. Especially at this time in our recession we need to create as many jobs as we can and this will definitely help. Basically if you don't support drilling you don't like to think of new job oppurtunities.
