Sorry, but like folks have said. Who really cares what race he is? I guess if you want to get down to the nitty gritty of him being the first black president. In that case he is the first black president because he is black and white.

The word "race" was coined by anthropologist to describe how a person Looked (morphology) and not anything else about them, so as long as were are using the word race out side of a discusion of anthropology, How does he "Look?" African Genes are so dominate that anyone with an African Parent, Mother or father is going to look like a black person, so their "race" will be black or Negroid, yes there are only three races in the world,

I would vote, but I don't understand the meaning of the question. It does not matter what race he is.

Why would it matter what race he is. I am more concerned about the fact he is a Democrat as I am. He could have stripes on him for all I am concerned.

Why do you look at a person needing to put them in a box by describing him as one race or another?

I have it on good authority that Mr. Obama is a member of the Human Race.

Now that we got THAT settled, let's get on with fixing this country.

Okay see this is it. I'm an older woman, 48, not old old, but old enough to remember my 20s, that would put it around 1980, when I began to notice mix marriages. I felt sorry for the kids, the children having to go to school and feeling that they don't belong.

I was called a buck tooth, four-eyed beaver. I remembered it; it was hard enough for me. I'm not alone in my boat. There are allot of people who understand what I went through as they went through it, as well. No matter what, you just don't belong.

Obama stood on the platform for change. Have we changed? Are we ever going to change? Is there change for us any time in our future?

Not if our ideals stay the same. A person's ideals does not stop at the outer packaging of their spirit.

Obama is a man who's blood is red.

May God have mercy on our souls.

I consider all people to be of one race - human.

But politicians might not be so worthy...
