Do your friends a favor. Tell them to visit the nearest clue store and get one.

Here are a few for starters:

How does one keep from being killed?

CLUE- If someone is firing weapons- this can apply to thugs in a park in America or terrorists firing missles- do not stay around them.

How can you prevent your house of worship from being destroyed?

CLUE: Do not permit armed combatants to set up shop in the sanctuary.

How can you prevent your young children from being brainwashed into thinking that violence is a good thing?

CLUE: Do not allow them to pal around with folks who are violent.

There ya go, I've given you three clues that you can forward to your remaining friends, since it is obvious that the clue store is closed in that part of the world.

Oh, I forgot, they have no electricity. Let me give you a clue.

If they have no electricity, how are they gaining access to the internet?

CLUE: They are liars.

So they're trying to protect the new generation by making homes and places of worship into military targets and causing them to get blown up?

If you are a man who loves killing and dieing so much:

Perhaps you should join Al Qaeda in Iraq.
The Sons of Iraq are brave Men of faith --they will hunt you like a vicious animal.
If you do not surrender , they will kill you like a rabid boar.

Exclamation Read This

Because jews don't strap bombs to their bodies?
Because jews don't pay people to blow themselves up?
Because jews don't hide behind women and children while launching home-made rockets into gaza?
Because jews don't wear full head scarves to hide their faces when in battle?
Because jews want to live without having to wear gas masks?
or run into shelters from falling rockets?
or live in fear of the person next to them will blow them up?
never heard of a jewish homicide bomber, or, who teach their school children to kill their neighbor,
or jews making home-made rockets in their basement to use on their neighbors.
these are plenty of reasons why hamaas is the armpit of israel. and a pain in the a**.

Is that because they are defending their own home that Israel had take it by force 60 years ago.
Or that is because they are defending their families and children that Israel soldiers are killing every day.
Or that is because they have refused to give up to Israel and leave their home without any defense.

Hey, Nawar, let me ask you a question: did you think you were going to get lots of people agreeing with you by starting this thread?

palestinian terrorist are civilians. When you have young children in schools taught it is good to be a suicide bomber then you know which side is the terrorist.

I would look at these--I think they are pretty fair.
--Haaretz online (an Israeli newspaper that gives a more realistic picture of what is going on than what we get)
--Tony Karon (used to write for Time magazine--do a google search for his name)
--Edward Said's books & articles (not necessarily "unbiased", but a point of view that is rarely heard in the US)

I always go on the assumption that most of what you see or read in the major US media is either biased in favor of Israel, superficial, or decontextualized (or all of the above).

I am having a lot of trouble finding that kind of information, especially regarding the Middle East. Thank you.

Biased in favor of Israel? Now I know you're crazy and insane! Not one American news agency expressed outrage towards Hamas when Hamas began firing long range rockets into Israel but almost all American news agencies expressed outrage at Israel for firing back.

Maybe because Gaza is a much bigger story than unguided rockets that almost never kill anyone? Besides, I haven't seen any "outrage" in the mainstream media over Gaza, just reporting of it. And the rocket situation has been covered--they were showing Israeli neighborhoods and interviewing people. The editorial pieces in the MSM that I read gave some halfhearted lip service to a ceasefire and then went on to defend Israel.
