Actually such a general definition will include all wars of liberation from the American War of Independence to the French Revolution. The worst aspect and perhaps the most common feature of terrorism like now is the unleashing of violence against innocent civilians.

At least they would have somewhat of a legitimate claim. They did control the land at one point. Basically the white claim to the land is that we defeated them and that since they have either been absorbed into society (not so much) and the ones who haven't couldn't possibly defeat the dominent society. In other words, we control the land and we get to keep it because they can't tak it from us.
What other justification for controlling land is there? You either have some sort of historical claim (something that Israel has) and/or that you are able to control and maintain it (something else Israel has).
The thing that is criminal is the way the Islamic Terrorist group Hamas intentionally uses women, children and old people as human shields...
Almost all the civilian casualties in Gaza are the direct responsibility of Hamas... they intentionally turn civilian areas into war zones by design. They WANT their women and children to die - simply for the PR value - that people like you like to parade in front of us.
So I agree - Hamas is definitely guilty of war crimes...

I agree. They asked for the ass whuppin they are getting. Never pick a fight with somebody that can beat the snot out of you! If anything, Israel is showing great restraint in not just carpet bombing the place into oblivion.
I am curious as to just how Iran will ship the food and med supplies? Will they use the same routes they use to smuggle weapons?
At any rate Iran is just about out of reach for Israel unless we allow Israel to stage out of Iraq. Pretty sure what the iraqi's would say to that.
