We were discussing at what time before birth (or at the moment of birth)that life begins. Now you're trying to bring in the subject of children after they're born. But, if you want to get picky and disingenuous, okay. I can play that little passive-aggressive game too. Answer me this...
...since a baby can be sustained by bottle-feeding, and without the presence of any parent, does that mean it doesn't need a mother or father? Because that pretty much just blows away your asinine question of whether or not I think a nursing infant is a parasite.
Hmmm I think the discussion has moved from life to human.
No body can say a fetus doesnt have life, but the question is when is a human.

So a mother could have the baby and before it's slapped on the ass and the umbilical cord cut she stabs it to death and she didn't kill a human? But if the baby has a cleared airway and the umbilical cord is cut it's alive and she would go to jail for murder?
If in trying to kill themselves a mother throws herself down the stairs or something and happens to live but the baby dies is she guilty of murder?
Metabolism, I see. Two problems with that opinion:
- Do you consider metabolism to be a cause or a result?
- Do you acknowledge metabolism in sperm and ovum, hence consider them as living while also dismantling the notion that life begins at conception?
